Changes in the wider world can have a significant impact on our industry and Dennis Eagle, which prides itself on listening carefully to customers, is quick to respond as you’ll see in the Autumn 2019 edition of Eagle Eye.
But the magazine kicks off with a celebration. Our contract win in Blackpool has a deeper meaning for our staff; it’s a homecoming for our cabs which are made in the town.
There have been plenty of big contract wins lately but we look at a couple notable for being different. One is with Grundon at Silverstone race track and the other is our first ever gritter-snowplough-tipper truck – it’s even won us a Blue Peter badge!
With the battle against air pollution rarely out of the news, we’re leading the way in showing how RCVs, which uniquely visit every household in the country, can spearhead this fight.
We also highlight the myriad of opportunities for female engineers and look at the variety of roles taken by some of our own.
In Scotland we see the end of an era and the beginning of a new one as we open a brand new depot in Cumbernauld. And we consider how our Aftermarket has grown beyond recognition in 30 years.
